Question by Myrra B: What kinds of painkillers do medical professionals prescribe for broken/crushed bones?
If you broke your hand from a crushing – literally – blow, what sort of painkillers would a doctor prescribe?
Also, would they have to take out the bone shards – like, cut your hand open? – or would they just set it?

they would have to preform surgery to get the bone fragments out and most likely you would be on narcotics for the pain because the shards could be lodged in the tissue and they would have to cut/rip the shards out while in surgery. good luck and feel better soon
